I love everything about Christmas, the food, the weather, the parties and reunions, and the decorations.

One thing that I really like is how we mix traditions and how every family celebrate it its own way. In my case, we eat Colombian food and we get together with other Colombian families, but obviously we have a huge American influence.

That is how I’m raising my child, teaching him to accept diversity and being open to others way of thinking.

Our Christmas is a mix between Santa Claus, Baby Jesus, natilla and buñuelos (a sweet and salty combination that is a must during Christmas time) and lots of friends around.

I would love to know how do you guys celebrate Christmas and what’s your favorite part about it.

Yo amo todo lo relacionado con la Navidad, la comida, el clima, las fiestas y reuniones y toda la decoración.

Una cosa que definitivamente me encanta es la mezcla de tradiciones y como cada familia lo celebra. En mi caso, nosotros comemos comida Colombiana, nos reunimos con otras familias de Colombianos, pero es obvia nuestra gran influencia de la Navidad Americana.

Así es como estamos criando a nuestro hijo, enseñándole a aceptar la diversidad y las muchas otras formas que la gente tiene de ver la vida.

Nuestra Navidad es una hermosa mezcla entre Santa Claus, el Niño Dios, la natilla y los buñuleos, y un montón de amigos alrededor.
